Welcome

Email us or call 508 763-2035

The mission of our organization is as follows; to provide rehabilitation and medical care to homeless, abused and abandoned animals and to adopt them to good loving homes through an adoption policy and contract. A primary focus is to educate adults and children on the importance of spay, neutering and proper care and treatment of animals. When finances allow, we will help with spay and neuter services to those in need. We believe in a cage free shelter environment. The shelter shall operate as a no kill shelter, meaning that all attempts have been made to preserve the life of the animal; however if the animal’s health or condition is so grave, euthanasia may be in the animals best interest. No animal will be allowed to suffer.

It’s All About The Animals, our no-kill shelter, was founded to give homeless adult cats and kittens

an opportunity to receive the love, care and shelter they need until they find the loving homes they

deserve. Our shelter also serves as a means of rescuing our adult cats and kittens from premature

euthanasia. No cats will be “put down” unless they are suffering incurable pain. Our shelter is free-

roaming with access to a safe, enclosed outdoor area. Please come and visit but beware of cats and

kittens playing and running and toys scattered everywhere! A visit will lighten your heart and bring

you smiles and laughter!

We are a 501c3 non profit public charity and our shelter pays for it’s overhead through generous

donations, monetary and otherwise for food, medications and any veterinary services needed.

Year round we need your help!

We are thankful for our loving, dedicated volunteer staff who come in daily to help clean, feed, play

and keep our ‘residents’ company. We currently have a variety of volunteer opportunities available!

Since we are an all-volunteer shelter, community involvement is welcomed. We hope you would

consider to be a part of It’s All About The Animals. Volunteering at our shelter, as a foster parent or

in a variety of other ways would be greatly rewarding and appreciated.

You can help through:

• Donations of food, litter, flea meds, carriers, etc.

Monetary donations for food and medical needs

Volunteer extra time giving care and love in our shelter

We would also like to thank our local veterinarian office who provides

routine and emergency services to our shelter when needed, which is often.

The caring and kindness by the doctors and staff is beyond compare!

BUTTERBALL

Butterball

Female Spayed

2 Years old

Black and White Long Hair

Date of arrival: 3/25/2014

Butterball was found as a stray during a very cold and bitter winter. At the time

no shelter was able to take in another cat and the person who found butterball

kept her in her basement while the winter passed. When she called our shelter

in early spring she reported that she had this stray and the stray had a back

rash on her rear end. When she brought the cat to the shelter we rushed

Butterball to the hospital and immediately had her treated and shaved.

Butterball was treated with antibiotics and topical cream and is now healed

completely. The vet thinks Butterball suffered from urine staining (where she sat in her urine

and the acid ate at her skin). This poor girl has had a tough life but is such a

sweet girl despite of it all. She is now in our main unit and even though she is

fine being surrounded by other cats, she prefers to be alone and does not like

it when they get too close. Please consider opening up your heart and home to

this girl who needs a new start in life.
